Learn and explore all of the wonderful aspects of Bamboo!  These courses will help you to understand not only the fundamentals of bamboo growing, but also bamboo management and the integral role that bamboo and the bamboo farmer can play in maintaining a healthy environment. 

We are offering beginning level courses that offer instruction on beginning your own nursery/farm; raising bamboo shoots for food; and creating bamboo crafts for earning a living or as a hobby.  These courses will include the following:

• Bamboo biology
• Soil management
• Insect and pest management
• Product marketing
• Addressing  bamboo farming as a whole instead of as separate industries
• Hands on bamboo farm activities throughout the season
